2. What We Sell and How

Cool Bear UK is an authorised dealer for XYZ Racing coilovers, K-Sport brake systems, D2 Racing Sport suspension, and Air Force Suspension air ride systems. All products are manufactured by Cool Bear Co. Ltd (Taiwan) and shipped directly from the factory to the customer.

All products are made to order to the customer’s specification. When you place an order, you select the specific configuration for your vehicle — including but not limited to coilover type and top-mount style for suspension, caliper colour and pad compound for brake kits, and diameter, width, PCD, offset, and finish for forged wheels. These selections constitute your custom specification, and manufacturing begins only after your order is confirmed and payment received.

3. Pricing, Payment, and VAT

All prices displayed on this website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the current UK rate unless otherwise stated. You may toggle between VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive display using the price toggle on the site.

Full payment is required at the time of order. No deposits or partial payments are accepted. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and Clearpay.

Your order is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed and you have received an order confirmation email.

4. Made-to-Order Exemption

Important: All products sold through Cool Bear UK are made to your individual specification. As such, they are excluded from the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(b), which exempts goods that are made to the consumer’s specification or are clearly personalised.

The specifying inputs that constitute your custom specification include:

  • Coilovers: coilover type (e.g. Super Sport Road, Racing Spec, Drifting, Tarmac Rally, Gravel Rally), top-mount configuration, and vehicle chassis/fitment
  • Brake kits: caliper colour, pad compound (Street, Sport, Racing), and vehicle fitment
  • Forged wheels: diameter, width, PCD, offset, and surface finish

By placing an order, you acknowledge that your products are manufactured to your chosen specification and that the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to your order.

5. Order Process

  1. Browse and configure: Select your vehicle and choose the product configuration that suits your requirements.
  2. Place order and pay: Complete checkout and make full payment.
  3. Order confirmation: You will receive an email confirming your order details and specification.
  4. Manufacturing: Your order is released to Cool Bear Co. (Taiwan) for production.
  5. Despatch: Once manufactured, your order is shipped directly to you via tracked courier.
  6. Delivery: You will receive tracking information and an estimated delivery date.

6. Lead Times

All products are manufactured to order. Typical lead times are 4 to 8 weeks from payment confirmation, depending on the product type and current factory capacity. Specific lead-time estimates are shown on each product page.

Lead times are estimates only and may vary. We will notify you of any significant delays as soon as we become aware of them.

7. Cancellation Before Production

If you wish to cancel your order before manufacturing has begun, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to cancel the order with the factory, but cannot guarantee cancellation once the order has been released for production.

If your order has already entered production, cancellation is not possible due to the made-to-order nature of the goods (see section 4 above).

8. Your Rights for Faulty Goods

The made-to-order exemption applies to the cancellation right only. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully preserved.

If your goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have the right to:

  • A full refund within 30 days of delivery (short-term right to reject)
  • A repair or replacement after 30 days
  • A partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not possible or unsuccessful

To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected] with your order number, a description of the fault, and photographs or video evidence where applicable.

9. Warranty

Products sold through Cool Bear UK carry the manufacturer’s warranty as provided by Cool Bear Co. (Taiwan). Full warranty terms, including coverage, exclusions, and the claims process, are detailed on our Warranty page.

10. Delivery

Full delivery information, including shipping regions, carriers, tracking, and our process for lost or damaged shipments, is set out on our Shipping page.

11. Returns

Our returns policy, including the made-to-order exemption and your rights for faulty goods, is set out on our Returns page.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with any order, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Consumer statutory rights: Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
