The small-orifice damper design is intentional: it is what gives the kit its precise high-speed control on a smooth circuit surface. As a result, traversing large road-going potholes can produce a faint oil-passage noise from the damper as fluid moves through the small internal passages. This is normal behaviour for the kit and not a fault – the Circuit Master is engineered for circuit surfaces, where that compromise is invisible. Race teams running the Circuit Master have used it to take overall wins in international competition, which is the development context the damper was built for.
