Caliper render for this kit:

The Levante carries serious mass, well over two tonnes with Maserati’s Ferrari-built twin-turbo engines sitting up front, and on a long Alpine descent or a run of hard stops from autostrada speeds, the standard rear discs take on heat faster than they can shed it. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit targets exactly that weakness, swapping the rear corners for a two-piece floating rotor and fixed-caliper package built to manage the braking energy a heavy Q4 SUV throws at its rear axle.
This is the rear half of a big brake upgrade for the 2016-2026 Maserati Levante, sized to restore consistent bite rather than chase a single headline stopping figure. Street, Sport and Racing pad compounds are offered, so you specify the kit around how the car actually gets used: motorway and school run, fast B-road, or the occasional track day.
What this big brake kit does for your 2016-2026 Maserati Levante
The gain you notice first is pedal consistency. A fixed-caliper rear setup clamps more evenly than a sliding OEM unit, so the bite point stays put even after repeated heavy stops. The two-piece floating rotor keeps rotating and unsprung mass down while opening up internal venting, which means the rear axle carries heat away instead of storing it, the difference between a firm pedal and a long, vague one at the foot of a mountain pass. On a Q4 Levante, that steadier rear braking helps the whole car stay composed when you trail the brakes into a corner. Run the Racing compound and the kit takes sustained track abuse without glazing; the Sport pad bridges fast-road and occasional track use, while the Street pad keeps low-speed manners and brake dust in check for daily driving.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit is a fixed-caliper big brake upgrade for the rear axle. It is built around a two-piece floating rotor, a design that trims disc weight while increasing the internal airflow that pulls heat off the friction surface, a real advantage on a vehicle as heavy as the Levante. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing caliper for sustained high-temperature work that removes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. The aluminium caliper bodies come painted in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange, or a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150 to suit your spec. Three pad compounds span the way owners use these cars: Street for quiet, low-dust road feel, Sport for sharper road response with more heat range, and Racing for sustained high-temperature work. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable at checkout. The kit mounts to the existing rear corners and is engineered as the rear counterpart to XYZ Racing’s matching front kit, so front-to-rear balance is handled as a system rather than a single-axle bolt-on.
Fitment for the Maserati Levante (2016-2026)
This kit fits the rear axle of the Maserati Levante across the 2016-2026 model years, covering the Q4 all-wheel-drive range, and is supplied as a pair. It is a rear-specific package designed to pair with the matching XYZ Racing front kit for a balanced upgrade. Confirm your exact model year above so the correct caliper and rotor specification is matched to your car.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
