XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES E63 / E64 M6 2004-2010

The E63 coupe and E64 convertible hang their S85 V10 well ahead of the front axle, and at close to 1.8 tonnes the M6 carries far more mass than a chassis you would normally commit to a drift entry. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the Bmw 6 Series E63 / E64 M6 exists to make that weight work for you rather than against you, loading the rear predictably as the car rotates and holding a chosen angle through a fast transition.

This is a competition-focused setup, not a fast-road compromise. It is built to settle the M6’s long wheelbase mid-slide and give the driver a repeatable platform for big, sustained angle, which is exactly the kind of control a 500bhp front-engined GT needs before it will behave on a circuit layout.

What this coilover does for your 2004-2010 Bmw 6 SERIES E63 / E64 M6

Lower the M6 onto its bump stroke correctly and the rear axle starts talking to you far earlier in the corner. The Pro Racing Drift Spec uses three separate adjustment knobs, so ride height, preload and damping can be set independently to suit your entry speed and surface. That separation matters on a heavy V10 coupe: you can soften the platform enough to load the rear on turn-in, then firm the damping to stop the body pitching as you feed in lock and power. The result is a car that holds its line at a committed angle instead of snapping straight or washing wide, with consistent body control through the long, fast corners where the standard EDC dampers give up.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built this kit specifically for drift competition rather than general lowering. The design brief is body stability during high-speed cornering, so the car can be placed at a clean, deliberate angle and held there to enhance drifting performance. Ride height drops onto a measured bump stroke, and that proper stroke is central to how the setup keeps the slide controllable. Each damper runs three adjustment knobs feeding a small oil-hole valving design; over large bumps the oil is forced through that narrow passage, which can produce a faint noise. That is normal behaviour for this valving, not a fault, and it reflects a kit intended for circuit surfaces where big mid-corner impacts are not part of the equation. In short, it is a track drift tool first, engineered to keep the M6’s mass settled while you work the angle.

Fitment for the Bmw 6 SERIES E63 / E64 M6 (2004-2010)

This kit is cut for the M6 specifically, covering both the E63 coupe and E64 convertible across the 2004 to 2010 production run, as fitted with the S85 V10. Confirm your chassis code and build year against the listing before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
