XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES E64 6 CYL 2004-2010

The E64 was never built as a lightweight – a full convertible GT chassis with a folding hard-top and none of the coupe’s roof-mounted rigidity, carrying its N52 straight-six well forward of the front axle. That mass and the softer factory damping tuned for boulevard cruising work against you the moment you start stringing corners together on a circuit. The Circuit Master coilover kit is built to correct that, giving the 630i’s chassis the control it was never given from the factory.

For sustained lap-time work rather than the odd fast road blast, this is the XYZ Racing tier aimed squarely at repeat-session use – the point where a car’s factory bushings, springs and dampers start to fade and the driver starts to feel it through the wheel.

What this coilover does for your 2004-2010 Bmw 6 Series E64 6 CYL

Drop the ride height and firm up spring rates on a car this heavy and the first thing you notice is less nose-dive under braking into a hairpin – weight transfer that used to load the front tyres unevenly now happens in a shorter, more predictable window. Through direction changes, the integral-link rear axle stops wallowing and starts tracking, which matters on a chassis carrying an inline-six well ahead of the front axle line. Height-adjustable perches let you correct the E64’s factory-high stance and bring the centre of gravity down without touching spring rate, and with a monotube design underneath, damping response stays consistent as oil temperature climbs across a session rather than fading lap on lap. The result is a big GT that turns in like it’s shed several hundred kilos, even though the numbers on the scales haven’t changed.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing built the Circuit Master line specifically around circuit use, and it shows in the adjustment range: three external knobs give you 9,720 individual damping combinations, which is a genuinely deep range for fine-tuning compression and rebound independently rather than guessing at a single global setting. The kit has been run and refined by XYZ’s own racing teams across international circuits, and that competition use is where the damper’s construction gets stress-tested well beyond road conditions. One quirk worth knowing: the small oil passages behind those adjustment knobs can produce a faint noise over sharp bumps or kerbs. That’s a by-product of the fine metering needed for precise damping control, not a fault, and it’s a non-issue on the smooth tarmac this kit is designed for.

Fitment for the Bmw 6 Series E64 (2004-2010)

This kit is built for the E64-chassis 6 Series, six-cylinder variant, covering model years 2004 to 2010. Confirm your car carries the BM45 chassis code and the 6-cylinder (630i, N52) drivetrain before ordering, as the V8 and V10 6 Series cars sit on different spring and mount specifications.
