XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Infiniti Q60 (CV37) (FRT FORK) 2016-2026

Take a CV37-generation Q60 off tarmac and its long coupe nose becomes a liability the instant the surface turns to rutted gravel or washed-out silt – the front axle needs a strut that can move a long way, fast, without losing its composure. That’s the brief behind the Gravel Rally coilover: a front-fork-mount design built for cars that are being pushed into stage or rallycross use well outside their factory remit.

For a car this size, this is about giving the front end somewhere to go when the road disappears. The Gravel Rally kit is built around long-stroke, long-spring architecture rather than the short, stiff travel of a circuit coilover, because a gravel stage throws vertical loads at the chassis that a track kit was never asked to absorb.

What this coilover does for your 2016-2026 Infiniti Q60

Fitted to a Q60, the long-stroke design keeps the front tyre in contact with the ground over compressions and crests that would otherwise pitch a shorter-travel setup into the bump stops. The inverted tube layout at the front fork mount is there specifically to cope with off-tarmac loading rather than the smooth, repeatable inputs of a sealed circuit, so the strut keeps working as the surface changes from hardpack to loose gravel to silt inside a single corner. Spring rates are set up to soak up chassis vibration transmitted from a rough surface rather than to sharpen turn-in on smooth asphalt, which matters on a car carrying the CV37’s coupe proportions into terrain it wasn’t originally built for. The result on your Q60 is a front end that stays planted and controllable when the grip level and surface texture change corner to corner, instead of one that’s calibrated for a single, consistent tarmac line.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

The Gravel Rally coilover is built specifically around rally and rallycross use, where road surface is the most aggressive a car will see in competition – sand, snow, loose stone and silt in place of a consistent circuit line. XYZ Racing’s response is an inverted tube damper design that’s set up to keep working across those different surface types rather than being tuned for one. Long stroke and a correspondingly long spring give the damper the travel to absorb chassis vibration and take the repeated high-speed impacts of a bouncy, rutted road without the front end getting out of shape. That same long travel is what lets the strut carry extreme cornering loads on loose surfaces, where grip arrives and disappears far less predictably than on tarmac. Every spring rate offered in this range has been run and validated by a rally racing team rather than set on a bench, so the baseline is already proven against real stage conditions before it goes anywhere near your Q60.

Fitment for the Infiniti Q60 (2016-2026)

This kit is built for the Infiniti Q60, chassis code CV37, covering the 2016 to 2026 model years, in the FRT FORK front strut configuration. Confirm your Q60 matches the CV37 chassis code and FRT FORK front mounting type before ordering, as fitment is specific to this front-axle hardware arrangement.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
