XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz A CLASS W177 A25 4WD φ53 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2019-2026

The W177 A25’s 4WD system routes torque through a rear axle that already carries more hardware than the standard A-Class, and it changes how the car settles under trail-braking into a fast corner. XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover is built for that exact scenario – sustained circuit lap-time work where the rear axle needs to stay planted while the front does the steering.

This is not a fast-road compromise spec. The Circuit Master exists to let a driver run session after session without the chassis losing composure, and on a 4WD A25 that means controlling body movement through the rear integrated multi-link setup as much as the front struts.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Mercedes Benz A Class

With 9720 discrete damping combinations available across the 3 external adjustment knobs, you can set the front and rear independently to match the A25’s nose-and-tail weight transfer rather than accepting one compromise curve. That range matters on a car where the 4WD hardware adds unsprung mass at the rear axle – too soft and the back end wallows on corner exit, too firm and you lose the mechanical grip the AWD system is meant to give you. On track, the payoff is a car that changes direction with less roll and holds its line through fast, sustained corners where the standard A-Class suspension would start to feel vague. The monotube-style circuit-focused build also means the damping response stays consistent as the dampers heat up over a full session, rather than fading lap by lap. Ride height is adjustable independently of spring preload, so you can set stance and corner weights on the W177 without altering the spring rate you’ve chosen for a given track.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Circuit Master as its top-tier circuit damper, tested through XYZ’s own racing teams across multiple international events before it reached retail. The 3-knob adjustment layout is deliberately simple to operate trackside, but the small oil-passage design behind each knob is what delivers the 9720-way range – a byproduct of that design is that you may hear a faint noise from the damper when driving over larger bumps on rougher tarmac or kerbs. That’s the small-passage oil flow doing its job, not a fault, and it’s specific to how this unit is tuned for circuit-surface consistency rather than road comfort. The construction targets repeated high-load use – the kind of abuse a car sees doing back-to-back sessions rather than the occasional B-road blast – and the damping curve is tuned for a car that spends most of its life loaded up mid-corner rather than cruising. It’s the same platform XYZ fields in Racing Spec and Tarmac Rally applications, adapted here for road-legal circuit use on the A-Class.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
