Caliper render for this kit:

The B9 A5 Coupe’s MLB Evo platform concentrates a significant proportion of the car’s mass ahead of the front axle, a structural consequence of Audi’s longitudinal quattro architecture that works in the car’s favour under acceleration but loads the front brakes heavily under any serious deceleration. On track, this front bias shows early in a session: stock-spec discs manage the first few heavy stops without complaint, then reveal their thermal limits as heat accumulates through the next sequence.
Across the full 2017-2026 production run, the XYZ Racing front brake kit for the Audi A5 (8W6) addresses that front-axle limitation directly. It is a front-axle pair: left and right front calipers with matched two-piece floating discs, and three pad compounds that let owners match the setup to actual usage rather than buying for one scenario and compromising on another.
What this brake kit does for your 2017-2026 Audi A5 (8W6)
The hollow-vane disc design moves air through the disc body during braking, reducing the thermal build-up that causes conventional discs to overheat and pad material to glaze under repeated hard stops. On the 8W6, where front-axle loading under braking is fundamental to the layout, that improvement in heat rejection translates directly into more consistent pedal feel and shorter stopping distances when the brakes are working hard. The lighter two-piece discs also cut rotating and unsprung mass at the front, and braided lines hold the pedal firm where rubber hoses would swell. The three-compound pad range covers the realistic spread of A5 use: Street is the quiet, low-dust all-weather road default, Sport is for the driver who runs fast roads and visits a circuit occasionally, and Racing is the track compound for sustained high-temperature cycling in timed sessions. Calipers are hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use, rated to 1000C, no dust cover, two-year warranty.
About the Front Brake Kit
This is XYZ Racing’s front big brake solution for performance road and track use. Two-piece floating, hollow-vane discs sit at the heart of the kit: internal channels let air circulate through the disc during braking, addressing the thermal saturation that solid discs develop under repeated high-load stops, while the lighter two-piece construction trims unsprung mass. Discs come in drilled or slotted face at the same price, with optional two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout. Included caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150 and premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) and candy finishes (Teal, Blue, Red, Orange) also available, so the finish can run from a discreet black receding behind conventional alloys to a high-visibility gold through open spokes. The three pad compounds mean the same hardware serves road, mixed-use fast-road and circuit, or extended track sessions.
Fitment for the Audi A5 (8W6) (2017-2026)
This kit is specified for the 8W6 body code, Audi’s B9-generation A5 Coupe, across its complete production span from 2017 through 2026. If you are running a modified or upgraded factory brake arrangement, cross-reference your existing caliper carrier and disc specification against XYZ Racing’s compatibility data before confirming the kit.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
