Caliper render for this kit:

The FX45 S50’s party trick, dismissed by too many as a fashion statement on four wheels, is the FM platform hiding beneath its crossover bodywork. The same architecture that underpins the 350Z and G35 sits here: engine set behind the front axle line, rear-biased AWD, and a weight balance that left most contemporary performance saloons reconsidering their assumptions. Where the factory hardware shows its limits is in sustained hard braking. Nearly two tonnes of V8-powered crossover generates front-axle heat and load that the standard stoppers contain but were never developed to exceed.
This XYZ Racing front big brake kit addresses that gap directly. It is a front-axle kit, a matched left and right pair of calipers and two-piece floating discs. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you match the setup to how you actually drive, and the caliper colour menu makes the hardware visible through the wheels without the upgrade looking out of place on a car this composed.
What this brake kit does for your 2003-2008 Infiniti FX45 S50
The front axle carries the primary braking load on the FX45 S50: under hard deceleration weight transfers forward regardless of the FM platform’s well-balanced static distribution. Upgrading the front hardware extends the fade threshold meaningfully, which matters most when the V8 is working hard and the car is repeatedly hauled from speed. The hollow-vane disc routes air through its internal structure to shed heat faster, and the two-piece floating construction keeps the iron ring flat as it heats so the disc resists coning. The three compounds give the kit genuine range: Street, quiet and low-dust, handles everyday use; Sport raises the ceiling for fast-road driving; Racing is there for circuit days where thermal loads are relentless. Included caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, as practical as it is aesthetic on a car where large-diameter wheels leave the brakes fully exposed.
About the Hollow big brake kit
The kit sits at the performance end of XYZ Racing’s brake catalogue, developed for vehicles that need to manage demanding braking loads across a range of conditions rather than a single purpose. The three-compound pad system means the same caliper and disc hardware stay in place as your use case changes; compound selection at order is the variable, not the entire kit. The hollow-vane disc is available drilled or slotted at the same price, and the caliper is a hollow-body forging as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Caliper colour extends beyond the no-cost painted finishes to premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange, with two-tone or titanium centre bells, all selectable at checkout, covering both high-visibility modified builds and cars running closer to factory. The front-axle fitment targets the brakes that do the heaviest work under deceleration; on a car of this mass, the front hardware earns its specification.
Fitment for the Infiniti FX45 S50 (2003-2008)
This kit is built specifically for the Infiniti FX45 S50, covering the full production window from 2003 to 2008. The S50 chassis used a consistent FM-platform front-end geometry across that run, making this a straightforward fitment across all production years. Confirm your exact specification, particularly if the car has been previously modified, before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
