Caliper render for this kit:

The Y51 Fuga rides on Nissan’s front-midship platform with the better part of 1.7 tonnes to haul down, and a comfort-biased factory brake set-up that was never asked to do repeat hard stops. On a heavy rear-drive saloon the back axle does more braking work than most owners credit, and it is usually the first thing to overheat once the car gets used in anger.
This XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Infiniti Q70 Y51 FUGA M25/ M35 targets that weakness at the rear corners. It pairs a pair of larger two-piece floating discs with fixed calipers and a choice of three pad compounds, so you can set the rear thermal capacity to match how the car is actually driven, whether that is motorway miles, fast B-roads, or the occasional track day in a 3.5-litre M35.
What this brake kit does for your 2010-2019 Infiniti Q70 Y51 FUGA M25/ M35
After fitting, the gain shows up exactly where the standard rears struggle: heat. The larger rear rotors carry more thermal mass and their hollow-vane castings shed it faster, so the rear brakes hold their bite through repeated stops instead of going soft and stretching the pedal long. That matters on a car this heavy, where fade at the back unsettles the chassis mid-corner and saps your confidence to trail-brake into a turn. The three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you bias the kit toward quiet daily manners, firmer fast-road bite or aggressive friction for circuit work without changing hardware. And because rear brake balance is part of how the Q70 rotates under braking, a consistent rear end makes the whole saloon feel more planted when you lean on it.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear-axle pair of larger two-piece floating discs and fixed calipers, named for the hollow-vane rotor that runs cooler and lighter than a solid equivalent, trimming both rotating and unsprung mass at the back of the car. The fixed caliper resists flex under load, which is what keeps pedal feel firm where a tired sliding caliper would deflect and taper pad wear. Pads come in three compounds: Street for ordinary road use, Sport for harder fast-road driving, and Racing for sustained track temperatures, so the kit scales with intent rather than locking you into one character. The caliper is hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Calipers are painted at no extra cost in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150 and premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) or candy (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange) finishes available. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable at checkout. Everything is sized to the Y51’s rear hubs.
Fitment for the Infiniti Q70 Y51 FUGA M25/ M35 (2010-2019)
This kit is cut for the Y51-chassis Q70 / Fuga in both M25 (2.5-litre) and M35 (3.5-litre) forms, across the full 2010 to 2019 production run, and fits the rear axle as a pair of calipers and discs. Confirm your chassis code and build year before ordering, and pair it with a matching front kit if you want balanced thermal capacity at both ends.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
