The Apollo N is a low-volume, mid-engined supercar built around a carbon tub and a naturally aspirated V12 – a chassis with track intent baked in from the factory and very little aftermarket support to match. The Circuit Master coilover is XYZ Racing’s answer for owners who want to take that chassis past its stock damper window without resorting to one-off bespoke fabrication.
For a 2016-2017 Apollo N seeing real circuit use, the factory damping was specified for a narrow operating window. The Circuit Master widens it – giving you a usable platform on cold out-laps, mid-stint heat, and the kerbs that will otherwise unsettle a carbon-tubbed mid-engined car on turn-in.
What this coilover does for your 2016-2017 Apollo Apollo N
Drop the Circuit Master under an Apollo N and the first thing you notice is how the chassis stops asking permission before it commits to an apex. The 36-way damping adjustment lets you separate compression from rebound behaviour, so the V12’s weight transfer over the rear axle stays measured rather than abrupt. Spring rates are matched to the AP01 chassis weight rather than borrowed from a generic platform, which keeps the low-speed compliance honest enough that you can actually load the front tyres on entry. Monotube construction means the dampers shed heat through a longer stint without the fade you get from twin-tube units run hard. And because ride height, preload and damping are independent adjustments, you can set static ride height to clear the splitter on a circuit’s exit kerbs without sacrificing the corner travel the chassis needs to rotate.
About the Circuit Master coilover
The Circuit Master is XYZ Racing’s circuit-biased coilover line, sitting above the road-focused Super Sport and below the dedicated Tarmac and Drag programmes. Construction is monotube with a high-pressure gas charge, which gives the damper a larger piston area than a twin-tube of equivalent body diameter and better consistency under sustained load. The 36-way knob blends compression and rebound rather than splitting them across two adjusters, which is a deliberate choice for circuit work – you make one change at a time and feel it in the next sector, instead of chasing two variables. Spring rates are chosen on a chassis-by-chassis basis at the factory in Taiwan, with the Apollo N tune reflecting the car’s carbon tub stiffness and mid-engined weight bias. Pillowball top mounts on the front struts (where the OE design permits) tighten up steering feel and stop the rubber-bushing wallow that masks the front axle’s grip ceiling. Camber adjustment is built into the strut design where the chassis allows for it.
Fitment for the Apollo Apollo N (2016-2017)
This kit is built specifically for the AP01-chassis Apollo N produced across the 2016 and 2017 model years. Given the production volume of this car, fitment has been worked out against the OE damper geometry directly – confirm your chassis number against the AP01 designation before ordering, and contact us if your car has had any prior suspension modifications that affect the strut mounting points.

The Circuit Master spec list is long and the chassis is rare – pick your spring rates, ride height and damping preferences in the configurator below.
Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
Top mounts included with your kit
