XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F30 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (Modified Rear Integrated) 2011-2026

Take the M-Technik, xDrive and EDC cars out of the equation and what’s left is the F30 in its purest rear-drive form – a chassis that will happily rotate the moment you lift or feed in throttle mid-corner. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that trait rather than against it, with a rear-integration bracket set specific to this non-EDC 3 Series so the kit mounts cleanly without fighting the factory rear geometry.

Where a road or track coilover is tuned to control body movement, Drift Spec is tuned to let you use it. The kit stabilises the body through the transition into a slide, so the back end steps out on your input rather than snapping unpredictably mid-turn. Drop the ride height with the bump stroke set correctly and the F30 holds a cleaner, more consistent angle once it’s sideways, instead of wandering as weight shifts across the rear axle.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2026 BMW 3 Series F30

On a stock F30, initiating and holding an angle relies on brake-inducing weight transfer you don’t fully control. Lowering the centre of gravity and stiffening the platform with this coilover cuts the amount of body roll feeding into the rear end during entry, so the initial rotation happens on your steering and throttle input rather than on suspension lag. Once the car’s sideways, the reduced pitch under lift-off keeps the rear subframe more settled, which means less correction needed to hold the drift through to exit. The 4/6-cylinder non-xDrive F30 is light enough at the front axle that ride height drop alone changes how quickly the nose responds to countersteer, and this kit is set up to use that rather than mask it. Because the rear integration is matched to this exact chassis variant, the geometry changes stay predictable instead of introducing bind or camber you didn’t ask for.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built this line specifically around drift use rather than adapting a road-going kit. The core job is stabilising the car’s body through high-speed turn-in so the driver can hold a cleaner angle instead of fighting axle hop or unwanted pitch. Ride height drop is central to how it works: get the bump stroke set correctly for the car’s weight and the whole platform settles into a more controllable state once the rear steps out, rather than becoming twitchy at the limit. That’s the difference between a kit that merely lowers a car and one built to keep the chassis composed while it’s deliberately unsettled at the rear. For the F30, that construction is paired with a rear-integration mount specific to the non-EDC, non-xDrive, non-M-Technik cars in this range, so the drift-focused valving and spring rates arrive matched to how this particular chassis actually loads its rear end.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series F30 (2011-2026)

This kit is built for the BM99-coded F30, 4 and 6-cylinder variants, across the 2011-2026 model span – specifically the cars without M-Technik suspension, without xDrive and without Electronic Damper Control. The rear mounting is the "Modified Rr Integrated" spec, matched to this chassis’s factory rear subframe rather than a generic bolt-in bracket.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
