XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) 2018-2026

The G20 3 Series arrived with a wider front track and an aluminium double-joint front axle shared with the M3/M4 platform – geometry BMW tuned for composure, not for holding a locked drift angle through a hairpin. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built to work against that factory bias, using a dropped ride height and drift-specific damping to reshape how the outside tyre loads mid-slide.

This fitment covers the 2018-2026 BM107-code G20, in both 2WD and 4WD form across the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder range, and specifically the modified-rear-integrated-link variant common on drift-prepped cars. It’s built for competitive drifting, not fast-road comfort, and the tune reflects that brief throughout.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 BMW 3 Series G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated)

Once the ride height is dropped and the corner weights are set, the G20’s outside front tyre loads progressively through the transition into a slide, so the car breaks traction where you ask it to rather than where the factory geometry decides. The three external adjustment knobs let you separate low-speed compression, which controls weight transfer at initiation, from the high-speed circuit that governs how the chassis reacts to kerbs and mid-corner bumps without unsettling the rear. Lowering the car also drops the roll centre relative to standard G20 ride height, keeping the outside rear tyre loaded for longer once the car is holding an angle and making it easier to catch a correction. For a chassis that carries more weight over the front axle than the E9x it replaced, that combination of a lower centre of gravity and progressive damping is what lets the G20 hold a line instead of fighting the driver for it.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec around one job: keeping the body stable through a high-speed turn so the car settles into a clean, controllable angle instead of snapping sideways. The damper uses three external adjustment knobs feeding oil through a deliberately small internal passage, which is what gives the fine, incremental control that drift setups need over compression and rebound. Once ride height is dropped and bump stroke is set correctly, the difference in how the car controls a slide is obvious – that low-speed control is the entire point of the design. Because the oil runs through a narrower gallery than a fast-road damper, you may hear a faint noise from the unit over a big bump; that’s the small-passage design working, not a fault. The kit is built specifically for circuit and drift-track use, where kerbs and surface changes are part of the layout rather than an occasional annoyance, so that noise and the firmer low-speed response are both expected trade-offs for the control they buy.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series G20 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (2018-2026)

Confirmed for the G20-chassis 3 Series built between 2018 and 2026, covering both 2WD and 4WD drivetrain variants across the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engine range. This listing (chassis code BM107) is specific to the modified-rear-integrated-link version of the G20 running gear, so check that detail against your car before ordering.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
