XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Chevrolet EPICA 2006-2014

The Chevrolet Epica is an unusual canvas for a circuit coilover – a 1.5-tonne saloon with a longitudinally-mounted inline-six up front and a soft, comfort-tuned factory damper set that was never going to hold a line through Druids. The Circuit Master is the spec that turns that floaty long-wheelbase chassis into something you can actually corner-load lap after… into something you can lean on without the nose ploughing wide on turn-in.

For an Epica being campaigned on track days, time-attack curbing, or a privateer saloon-car series, this is the upper end of the XYZ Racing range – the one engineered for sustained circuit work rather than fast-road compliance.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2014 Chevrolet Epica

Drop the Circuit Master under an Epica and the first thing you feel is the body stops translating every steering input through three degrees of roll before the tyres bite. Front-end response sharpens because the damper is finally controlling the spring rather than chasing it. The 9720-way adjustment ladder means you can run a stiffer compression setting for high-speed direction changes at somewhere like Snetterton’s Bomb Hole, then back the rebound off to keep the inside rear loaded through slower corners. With the Epica’s nose-led weight distribution, the ability to bias damping front-to-rear is what unlocks balance you can actually drive into the apex rather than wait out.

About the Circuit Master coilover

This is the competition-tier damper in the XYZ Racing line – the same architecture used on the brand’s Racing Spec, Drift Spec, and Tarmac Rally builds. The 9720 individual adjustment combinations come via three separate knobs controlling bump, rebound, and a third valving stage, giving you granular control most single-adjustable kits can’t approach. Development was done across international circuits with XYZ’s own race teams, and the damper has carried cars to wins in the categories it was built for. One quirk worth knowing: the small-passage valving that makes the Circuit Master sharp on smooth tarmac will occasionally produce a faint hydraulic note over heavy bumps as oil works through the restrictor – that’s the trade-off for circuit-grade response, and it’s a non-issue on the surfaces this kit was designed for.

Fitment for the Chevrolet Epica (2006-2014)

This kit is matched to the CH03-chassis Epica saloon across the full 2006-2014 production run. Confirm your build year falls inside that window and that you’re on the standard CH03 platform before ordering.
