XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Infiniti Q50 (FRT FORK) 2014-2026

The Q50’s front strut architecture uses a fork-type lower mount, and any coilover fitted here has to control a nose that carries the VQ37 or twin-turbo VR30’s weight while the car’s variable-ratio steering asks the front axle to load up fast. XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover is built for that brief: sustained circuit lap-time work where the front end needs to stay planted through repeated heavy-braking, turn-in, mid-corner cycles without the ride height or damping character drifting session to session.

This is not a fast-road compromise spec. The Circuit Master exists for owners doing multiple timed sessions in a day and needing the platform to behave the same on lap fifteen as it did on lap one.

What this coilover does for your 2014-2026 Infiniti Q50

Fitted to the Q50’s FRT fork front end, the Circuit Master’s 36-way damping adjustment lets you separate compression and rebound behaviour to suit the car’s nose-heavy weight bias under braking, rather than accepting a single compromise setting. Lowering the ride height and centre of gravity sharpens turn-in response on a chassis that otherwise leans on its steering ratio to disguise body roll. The monotube design keeps oil temperatures and damping force consistent across long circuit stints, so the front end doesn’t go soft or vague as the session progresses. Stiffer, adjustable spring rates reduce the dive under trail-braking that the Q50’s weight distribution otherwise exaggerates into the corner. The net result on track is a front axle that loads predictably lap after your first, second, and tenth run of the day, with the rear following rather than fighting for grip.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition range, developed and proven across international circuit racing rather than adapted from a road-going part. It offers 9,720 individual damping combinations through its 3-knob adjustment system, giving racers separate control over compression and rebound so the setup can be tuned to a specific track surface or tyre compound rather than left at a fixed factory curve. The damper has been run and refined by XYZ Racing teams competing internationally, feeding real circuit data back into the valving. Because the adjustment knobs use a small-orifice oil-passage design, you may notice minor noise from the damper when running over sharp bumps or kerbs – this is a normal side effect of the fine-adjustment mechanism, not a fault, and has no bearing on the coilover’s function on smooth circuit tarmac. Construction is monotube throughout, chosen specifically to resist the heat build-up that plagues twin-tube designs under repeated hard use.

Fitment for the Infiniti Q50 (2014-2026)
