XYZ Racing Racing Spec Coilovers — Maserati MC20 (with hydraulic lift, excl.control system) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2020-2026

The MC20 sits in awkward company. Maserati’s mid-engined supercar runs a Skyhook-style adaptive damper system from the factory, and that system fights back the moment you try to substitute conventional coilovers in its place. Owners chasing a circuit-focused setup hit the same wall: pull the OE struts and the dash lights up. This is the Racing Spec kit built specifically for the 2020-2026 MC20 chassis (MS06-C) fitted with the optional hydraulic lift, sold here with the cancellation harness that keeps the car’s electronic damping module quiet.

It is the most aggressive coilover in the XYZ catalogue for this car, aimed at owners running serious track time in a 630bhp Nettuno-engined supercar where the factory’s compromise-led damper map has become the limiting factor.

What this coilover does for your 2020-2026 Maserati MC20

Swapping the Skyhook hardware for a fixed-rate, manually adjustable platform changes the MC20’s character at the front axle in particular – the nose stops floating mid-corner and the front tyres start telling you what the chassis is actually doing on turn-in. Ride height comes down across both axles for a flatter platform under load and a lower centre of gravity through quick direction changes. Damping is set on a 30-position click adjuster, so the same kit handles a hot lap, a damp Goodwood paddock crawl, and the trailer-load home without a workshop visit between them. The supplied cancellation kit fools the OE controller, so no warning lights, no limp-home, no dealer codes to clear after a track weekend.

About the Racing Spec coilover

XYZ’s Racing Spec sits at the top of the road-legal end of the range, built around a monotube damper body with separate spring and ride-height adjustment so corner-weighting does not cost you droop travel. The damping circuit is single-adjustable through 30 detents covering combined bump and rebound, which keeps the in-cabin tuning logic simple while still giving real range between road-friendly and track-stiff. Spring rates on this fitment are specified for the MC20’s mid-engined weight distribution and the loads that an MS06-C platform sees through high-speed direction changes. Pillowball top mounts replace the OE rubber bushings to sharpen steering response and tighten camber control under braking. The cancellation harness is supplied in the box for this SKU – it is the version of the kit you want if your car has the optional nose-lift hydraulics fitted from new.

Fitment for the Maserati MC20 (2020-2026)

This kit is specified for the MS06-C chassis MC20 built between 2020 and 2026, with the factory hydraulic front-axle lift system fitted but excluding the OE control module integration. It includes the cancellation kit required to disable the electronic damping system on cars that left Modena with adaptive Skyhook hardware. Confirm your car has the lift option fitted before ordering – the non-lift MC20 takes a different SKU.
