XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W205 6 CYL 2015-2021

The six-cylinder W205 carries more weight over the front axle than the four-pot C-Class ever did, and that extra mass shows up exactly where circuit lap time is made or lost: rotation on corner entry and how hard the nose loads up under trail-braking into a hairpin. Mercedes’ multi-link front and rear geometry on this chassis is composed on the road but soft enough at the standard ride height to let that mass move around under sustained circuit work.

XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover kit is built for exactly that scenario – repeated hot laps, not a single fast road blast – on the Mercedes Benz C Class W205 6 CYL. It replaces the factory spring and damper package with a setup designed to hold its damping characteristics session after session rather than fading as oil temperatures climb.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2021 Mercedes Benz C Class W205 6 CYL

Circuit Master’s damping range gives you 9720 possible adjustment combinations across its three external knobs, which in practice means you can separate compression and rebound control enough to firm up front-end response into direction changes without turning the rear into something twitchy over kerbs. On a car this heavy, that separation matters – you can stiffen support for hard braking zones on a fast circuit lap without carrying that same harshness into the low-speed corners where the W205’s chassis balance actually gets exploited. Ride height adjustment lets you drop the centre of gravity and correct camber curve behaviour that the factory setup was never tuned to give you at track-only ride heights. The result on a six-cylinder W205 is a front end that turns in with less of the standard car’s understeer-first bias, and a rear axle that stays planted through the transition phases where load is moving forward and back under braking and acceleration.

About the Circuit Master coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Circuit Master line specifically for circuit and competitive track use, and it’s the platform the brand puts through its own racing programme before it reaches customer cars. The headline spec is the 9720-way damping adjustment, controlled through three separate knobs so compression and rebound can be tuned independently rather than moving together on a single dial – a distinction that matters once you’re chasing a specific balance rather than just a firmer ride. Internally, damping oil is routed through a deliberately narrow passage design; at sustained high frequency, over rough kerbing or repeated big compressions, this can produce a faint noise from the damper. That’s a function of the small-bore oil circuit doing its job under load, not a fault, and it has no bearing on how the damper performs. The kit is built around monotube construction for consistent damping force delivery as oil temperature rises through a session, which is the specific failure mode a track-only shock has to resist that a road-biased unit doesn’t.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C Class W205 6 CYL (2015-2021)

This kit is specced for the Mercedes Benz C Class W205 6-cylinder variants built between 2015 and 2021, chassis code ME07-5. It’s matched to this generation’s multi-link front and rear suspension geometry and the mounting points specific to the six-cylinder engine’s weight distribution, rather than a generic W205 fitment shared across the four-cylinder range.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
