XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W205 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2015-2021

A W205 C63’s biturbo V8 sits nose-heavy over the front axle, and that mass transfer is exactly what a drift car needs to manage the moment the rear steps out. XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover kit is built around that specific problem: holding body roll in check so the chassis holds a sustained angle instead of see-sawing through it.

Because the W205’s electronic damping control unit will flag a fault the instant the factory adaptive dampers come off, this fitment is paired with the cancellation kit that keeps the dash clear once XYZ’s manually adjustable struts go in. It’s the difference between running this coilover cleanly on an 8-cylinder C-Class and fighting sensor errors every time you start the car.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2021 Mercedes Benz C Class W205 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

Drop the ride height with the correct bump stroke and the W205’s centre of gravity moves exactly where a drift setup wants it: lower, more predictable, and less prone to snapping through the transition. Every ounce of that V8’s weight over the nose gets managed through stiffer, adjustable damping rather than soft factory bushings, so the front end stops diving under load and starts loading the outside tyre the way a drift car needs to hold an angle. At the rear, the same firmer control keeps the axle from stepping out unpredictably mid-slide, so once you’ve committed to the angle the car stays settled rather than surprising you. None of this comes from raw stiffness alone; it’s the combination of the lowered stance and the stabilised body movement that gives you a chassis you can place accurately, run after run, instead of one you’re constantly catching.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line around one job: keeping the body settled while the car is sideways at speed. Where a fast-road or track coilover is tuned to resist roll in a corner you’re gripping through, this one is tuned for the entry, the transition and the sustained angle of a drift pass, stabilising the body through fast direction changes so the car holds a clean line instead of wallowing or snapping straight. Ride height is set low, and the kit is specified with a bump stroke calculated for that drop, so there’s still usable travel once the car is sitting at drift height rather than running out of stroke and crashing into the bump stops. On the W205’s V8 chassis specifically, the result is a setup that rewards deliberate throttle and steering inputs with a controllable, holdable angle rather than one that constantly needs correcting.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C Class W205 8 CYL (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2015-2021)

This kit is specified for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 in 8-cylinder form, chassis code ME07-6-C, covering the 2015 to 2021 model years. Because the W205 V8 comes from the factory with electronically controlled adaptive dampers, this fitment includes a cancellation kit so the dash and diagnostics stay clear once XYZ Racing’s manually adjustable struts replace the OEM units.

What buyers also search for

  • Mercedes-Benz C63 W205 drift coilover setup built around a lowered, angle-holding stance.
  • W205 8-cylinder coilover kit with a cancellation kit for the electronic damping fault codes.
  • Mercedes C-Class drift suspension tuned for sustained angle rather than pure grip cornering.
  • C Class W205 coilover kit aimed at competitive drifting and drift day builds.

Every ME07-6-C fitment comes with the cancellation kit built into the spec, not bolted on as an afterthought, so configure yours below.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
