Caliper render for this kit:

The 360 carries its 3.6-litre V8 behind the cabin, and that rearward mass changes how the car sheds speed: the back axle works harder under deceleration than it would on a front-engined GT, and the standard steel Brembo discs fitted to the Modena and Spider were never the carbon-ceramic items the factory reserved for the Challenge Stradale. Drive a stock NON Challenge, Stradale car through a run of heavy stops and the rear is where heat and pedal softness arrive first.
This is where the XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit earns its place. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, with a choice of three pad compounds, it gives the 1999-2005 F 360 a rear brake package you can match to how the car is actually used, committed fast road through to repeat track sessions.
What this brake kit does for your 1999-2005 Ferrari F 360 (NON Challenge, Stradale)
On a mid-engined car the rear brakes are doing real work, so the gains here are felt the moment the pace climbs. With the Racing compound, the pedal holds firm deep into a braking zone where the original steel setup would have started to go long, giving you confidence to brake later into a corner and trust the back axle as the 360 begins to rotate. Sport sits in the middle for harder fast-road use, while the Street compound trades outright bite for quiet, cold-stop manners that suit a road-driven Spider. The discs reduce rotating and unsprung mass at the rear, which sharpens how the car changes direction and takes the edge off heat soak, and a full menu of caliper finishes means the kit looks the part behind an open wheel rather than like a generic aftermarket bolt-on.
About the Hollow brake kit
The Hollow kit takes its name from its construction: a lightened, hollow-vane rotor that carries less rotating mass than a solid equivalent and pulls heat out of the friction face more readily under sustained load. That matters on a 360, where the standard Modena and Spider brakes were always the weak point on circuit. The disc is a two-piece floating design, offered drilled or slotted at the same price and fed by braided lines, and the caliper is hollow-body as standard; for the hardest circuit use you can specify the optional Hollow Racing upgrade, which runs without a dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. The kit ships with a three-tier pad choice, Street for near-OE road feel, Sport for harder fast-road use, and Racing for circuit temperatures, so a single hardware platform covers very different owners. Painted caliper finishes run to Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium, letting you specify the look alongside the spec. It is a rear-axle-specific kit, engineered to complement a matching front upgrade rather than to be run in isolation on a hard-driven car.
Fitment for the Ferrari F 360 (NON Challenge, Stradale) (1999-2005)
This kit is cut for the standard Ferrari F 360 Modena and Spider built between 1999 and 2005 and fits the rear axle. It is specifically the NON Challenge, Stradale specification, since the Challenge and Challenge Stradale cars ran their own factory brake hardware and are not covered here. Confirm your exact model and year against the listing before selecting pad compound and caliper finish.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
