XYZ Racing Street Advanced Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F34 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2013-2026

The F34 Gran Turismo carries roughly 200kg more than a comparable F30 saloon, most of it sitting behind the B-pillar in that long hatchback tail, and BMW tuned the standard non-M-Sport, non-EDC suspension to soak that weight up rather than control it under load. Left alone, the rear end squats under acceleration and rolls into corners a beat later than the nose does, which is exactly the kind of vague, disconnected feel that pushes F34 owners toward a proper coilover kit.

XYZ Racing’s Street Advanced kit is built for that gap between comfort and control: enough adjustment to firm the F34 up for a spirited B-road or the odd track day, with enough range left over to keep it liveable as a daily. It replaces the factory dampers and springs as a full assembly, so ride height and damping both come under your control instead of BMW’s compromise setting.

What this coilover does for your 2013-2026 BMW 3 Series F34

Lowering the F34’s centre of gravity on coilovers cuts the body roll that the standard suspension allows through that extra rear mass, so the car turns in with less lean and holds its line through a fast sweeper instead of leaning into it mid-corner. The damping adjustment lets you firm up compression and rebound for a track day, then wind it back for the motorway commute, without swapping parts. Ride height is independently adjustable too, which matters on a car this long in the wheelbase: get the rake right and you correct the nose-up stance the factory ride height leaves on non-M-Sport cars. Because the kit replaces both spring and damper as one unit, the F34’s rear end stays composed under braking and load transfer instead of pattering over broken tarmac the way a part-worn OE setup does at this mileage.

About the Street Advanced coilover

Street Advanced is XYZ Racing’s most popular coilover, developed over several years of in-house testing and proven in international motorsport before it reaches road cars. It carries 720 damping adjustment settings, giving a genuinely wide spread between a comfortable daily setting and a stiffer track-day tune, rather than the handful of clicks you get on entry-level adjustable dampers. The construction is built for dual-purpose use: firm enough for circuit driving, compliant enough that it doesn’t beat you up on a daily commute. XYZ position it as the kit for drivers who want real control over how their car sits and handles, without needing a full track-only setup. On the F34, that translates into a coilover you can leave stiff for a track weekend and soften again for the school run, using the same hardware throughout.

Fitment for the Bmw 3 Series F34 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (2013-2026)

This kit is specced for the F34 3 Series Gran Turismo built between 2013 and 2026, covering both four- and six-cylinder variants. It’s built around the standard chassis, so it excludes cars fitted with M-Technik suspension, xDrive four-wheel drive, or factory Electronic Damper Control (EDC) – those variants use different suspension geometry or electronic damping and need a different spec.
