XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Honda CIVIC TYPE-R FN2 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2007-2011

The FN2 Civic Type R’s rear torsion beam was always the compromise in an otherwise razor-sharp chassis, and it’s the first thing hard lapping exposes once the factory dampers start to fatigue. XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master kit replaces that set-up front and rear with a rear-integrated mounting design (chassis code HN25-1) matched to the FN2’s modified rear geometry, rather than a generic strut swap adapted from another platform.

This is the Circuit Master spec – XYZ’s tool for sustained circuit lap-time work, built for a car whose 2.0-litre K20Z4 and front-wheel-drive layout still fight for traction out of every hairpin. Where softer factory dampers give up after a handful of flying laps, this kit is built to keep working through repeat sessions.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2011 Honda Civic Type R FN2 (Modified Rr Integrated)

Independent adjustment across compression and rebound – reached through the kit’s three damping knobs and a combined 9720 setting range – lets you separate low-speed body control from high-speed bump absorption, which matters on the FN2 because its torsion-beam rear axle carries less inherent adjustability than a multi-link set-up. Stiffen the front and you claw back some of the nose-heavy understeer the FN2 carries into slower corners; ease the rear off a touch and the axle settles rather than skipping over kerbs. Ride height drops through the threaded body, lowering the centre of gravity and tightening the transitions the K20Z4’s power delivery demands out of hairpins. Because the rear mounting is built around the FN2’s modified rear integration rather than adapted from a donor kit, the geometry stays consistent as you work through the damping range.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top end of XYZ Racing’s damper range, built to the same specification tier as the brand’s Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally kits rather than as a fast-road afterthought. XYZ’s own racing teams have run the design across circuits internationally, and the development brief was straightforward: give a driver enough adjustment range to set the car up for whatever the track throws at it, instead of settling for one compromise setting. That range comes from three damping knobs feeding a combined 9720 possible adjustment combinations, metering oil flow through a set of deliberately small passages inside the damper body. The trade-off of those small oil holes is a faint noise over sharp bumps and kerbs – that’s the damper doing its job, not a fault, and it’s why this kit is specified for circuit use rather than as a daily-driver comfort set-up. Every FN2 kit ships with the rear geometry matched to the car’s integrated rear mounting points, so the adjustment range translates directly to the car instead of being compromised by a generic bracket.

Fitment for the Honda Civic Type R FN2 (Modified Rr Integrated) (2007-2011)

This kit is specified for the Honda Civic Type R FN2, chassis code HN25-1, covering the 2007 to 2011 model years, and uses the modified rear-integrated mounting design built for this chassis rather than a generic rear bracket. Confirm your registration falls within this year range before ordering.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
