XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Toyota COROLLA ALTIS E170 (OE Rear Integrated) 2013-2018

Launch a front-wheel-drive Corolla Altis hard and the nose rises, weight rolls off the driven axle, and the front tyres lose exactly the compression they need at the moment it matters most. On a RWD car that same weight transfer helps; on the E170, it works against the wheels doing the driving. The XYZ Racing Drag Racing coilover is built around that problem rather than around cornering, which is why it looks and behaves differently to a track-day setup.

This is a straight-line kit for the Corolla Altis E170, tuned for 0-400m runs rather than lap times. Where a Top Sport or Super Sport coilover chases mid-corner body control, this one is set up to manage what happens in the first three seconds off the line, when traction at the front axle decides the run.

What this coilover kit does for your 2013-2018 Toyota Corolla Altis

Set up correctly, the front end holds more of its static weight through the launch instead of shedding it rearward, so the driven tyres stay loaded and compressed against the tarmac when the throttle goes down. That translates directly into less wheelspin off the line and a shorter window between launch and the tyres hooking up cleanly. Because the setup is matched to a front-driven car rather than a generic drag spring rate, the Altis isn’t fighting the same weight-transfer problem a RWD-tuned kit would introduce. The result on track is a more consistent 60-foot time run after run, and a car that settles into the pass instead of wallowing through the first gear change while it finds grip.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing built this range specifically for 0-400m competition across FWD, RWD and 4WD platforms, and the spec changes depending on which wheels are doing the driving. On a front-driven car like the E170 Altis, the setting is calibrated to hold weight over the front axle during launch rather than let it transfer away, which forces the driven tyres into greater compression against the road at the point of maximum torque. That extra compression cuts the amount of time the front wheels spend spinning free before they find grip, which is where a badly-sprung drag car loses tenths before the finish line is even in sight. The same principle carries through the rest of the pass, keeping the platform stable as speed builds rather than letting it float on soft, road-biased damping.

Fitment for the Toyota Corolla Altis (2013-2018)

Built for the E170-generation Corolla Altis, chassis code TO28-1, covering the 2013 to 2018 model years. This is an OE Rr Integrated kit, meaning the rear pairs with the factory mounting rather than a full aftermarket rear assembly – confirm your car sits within this year range before ordering.

Configure your Drag Racing spec for the Corolla Altis E170 below and build the kit around your car’s launch.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
