XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Volkswagen JETTA MK5 (JETTA 3 IN EU) φ50 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2005-2011

The Jetta MK5’s PQ35 platform carries its weight further back than the Golf it shares a chassis with, and that shift changes how the rear end settles under trail braking into a fast corner. A Circuit Master kit addresses that directly: it’s built for sustained circuit lap-time work, where the rear axle needs to stay planted through repeated heavy-braking zones rather than just the first lap of a track day.

For a Jetta MK5 seeing regular circuit time, that means predictable rear grip when you’re still on the brakes at turn-in, not a chassis that goes light and unsettled the way the factory dampers do once they’ve heated up after three or four hard laps.

What this coilover does for your 2005-2011 Volkswagen Jetta MK5

With 9720 available damping combinations across the 3 external adjustment knobs, you can set the front and rear independently to match how the MK5 loads under braking versus how it rotates mid-corner – something a fixed-rate factory setup can’t do. The monotube damper body resists the fade that builds up over consecutive laps, so the ride height and damping response you set in the pits is closer to what you’re still getting on lap eight. Because the rear is modified for integrated mounting on this chassis, the kit keeps the MK5’s rear geometry within its intended range rather than working around a bolt-on adapter. Lowering the centre of gravity through the adjustable ride height also cuts down on the body roll that exaggerates the Jetta’s rearward weight bias mid-corner, giving you a more neutral platform to work from when you’re pushing into the apex.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s range, developed specifically for circuit and racing-spec applications rather than road use. XYZ’s racing teams have run it across international circuits during its development, which is where the 3-knob, 9720-combination adjustment range comes from – enough granularity to separate bump and rebound settings front and rear for a specific track or tyre. The small-orifice oil passage in each knob is a deliberate part of that adjustment resolution, and on rough sections it can produce a faint noise as oil moves through the passage under load – that’s normal operation on this design, not a fault, and the kit is built with circuit surfaces rather than broken road tarmac in mind. Construction is monotube, which sheds heat faster than a twin-tube design and keeps damping force consistent as track temperatures climb through a session.

Fitment for the Volkswagen Jetta MK5 (2005-2011)

This kit is built to chassis code VO24-A, covering the Volkswagen Jetta MK5 – sold as the Jetta 3 in EU markets – for the 2005 to 2011 model years, with the rear modified for integrated mounting on this specific application. Confirm your build year falls within that range before ordering, since VW carried the MK5 platform across several regional naming conventions.
